Dane & Lindsey-Winter Engagement 

Lindsey is a dear friend from high school so I was beyond honored when she contacted me to photograph her wedding. She is also a talented artist and does photography, so it was a huge compliment to be chosen as the one to document her big day. Knowing Lindsey as long as I have, meeting Dane for the first time at their engagement session was like seeing her perfect puzzle piece. He was a little reserved and quite, which is the perfect balance to Lindsey's bubbly personality. She has always been able to light up any room she walks in to and can make fast friends with anyone, and Dane seems perfectly content watching her with true admiration that she fully deserves. Seriously, it makes my heart smile.

For their engagement session, Lindsey wanted snow! I love doing snow sessions because they don't come up to often and they offer something very different than the other three seasons here in Wisconsin. Plus, I always get to be super bundled up compared to my subjects! :) We started with some of my favorite buildings in downtown Poynette and then headed over the MacKenzie Center where it never disappoints before coming back to the studio for a few indoor photos too.
