Eli and Ali-Engagement 

This is my big brother Eli and his beautiful fiancé Ali. They got engaged the end of September and asked me to come out to Colorado where they live to do their engagment photos. What an honor! I immediately said yes, because who could turn down a shoot across the country, let alone in the mountains, let alone for your brother! Ideas started swirling in my head before we even were off the phone. The plan was to go to do a simple, one hour-ish session, in one location, with one outfit. Weeeellllllll…we ended up doing a bit more than that. But can you blame us?! I seriously could have taken photos every two feet on our grand tour from the love birds and told my husband we should move. These two Midwesterners are now true Coloradans, their love for their state is about as obvious as their love for each other. I could go on and on, but anyone else wanting photos in Colorado, or ANYWHERE, I’m down. ;)

Eli is a very relaxed, go with the flow guy who, without even trying, wins everyone’s hearts. Ali is a genuine sweetheart who is beyond thoughtful in all she does. They seriously are the best. I am so grateful they found each other and to see how happy they are together. Throughout their session, I’d tell them to look at each other and they’d be smiling and then their smiles would grow bigger, take up their whole faces and they’d usually start laughing. I mean you can’t help but smile looking at their photos (and if you’re me, tear up of course) and feel the happiness. 

Bring on the wedding-you two deserve forever, and I’m ready to party!
