Schmitz-Wisconsin Dells Wedding-August 5, 2017

Two words to describe Garret and Katie’s wedding day, details and PARTY! These two are all about a good time and so are their friends and family. The whole day was full of laughs and drinks (some alcohol may or may not have gotten confiscated, right boys? J) all the way through the dance were the music was moving a full dance floor all night! It was so evident that Katie had spent so much time picking out perfect little details for every aspect of the day and everyone noticed it. Through everything Garret would always say, “Whatever Katie wants.” And it was the sweetest thing. I have been to many weddings at the Wilderness, and this was truly the most beautiful I have ever seen the reception room. And check out that bling! What a gorgeous and unique ring set, made extra special to the couple because they got it in Door County where they got engaged. During the ceremony, you could feel how much these two love each other during their personalized vows to each other, while they both made a few jokes along the way and the sheer joy as they walked down the aisle together as husband and wife. We spend some time on the golf course and fence line for special photos of the stunning couple before heading back to the reception where the real party was just starting out. I was able to steal Garret and Katie for a few night photos out on their patio set up because I can never get enough bokeh!
