Shanks-Milwaukee Wedding-June 9, 2018

Oh this day. Perfect weather, fantastic couple, gorgeous locations, man it's hard to beat. The bar was set pretty high for the first wedding of 2018! Martin and Michelle planned a beautiful intimate wedding with exquisite details for their closest friends and family in the Third Ward area of Milwaukee. Most of my weddings are not in a big city, so my creative juices were really flowing with all of the urban backdrops at my finger tips in the most refreshing way. They chose to do a first look (which was simply the sweetest) so that we could spend a good amount of time walking around the historic area from the hotel and down to the water and back to the beautiful venue. It was so nice to take our time with these photos of the two of them. Martin and Michelle decided to have a very intimate wedding with close family, friends, and a small wedding party and it was amazing. The whole day was so relax and personal, truly a reflection of their personalities, and everyone was able to enjoy ever single moment. Their personalized vows to each other during the ceremony was so touching, they also had Martin's brother officiate. It was also Michelle's dad's birthday so they had a special cake just for him! And the "Thanks from the Shanks" tags on the favor boxes, how much cuter can you get?!
